This series is the beginning of a collection of photographs that should lead back to my childhood. On walks in my home village in the Austrian mountains, I repeatedly come across places, buildings and situations that have hardly changed in 40 years. The childhood memories triggered by this have led me to want to capture these impressions and the emotions associated with them in photos.

Not all of the photographs actually show places of my childhood, but come partly from other rural regions. What they have in common, however, is that they have something of the past attached to them and trigger memories of comparable places, situations and emotions in me.

The colour scheme with the yellowed touch is intended to further emphasize the impression of the past, of a fading memory.

I started the series in the spring of 2022. It is still at the beginning of the elaboration.
